Okay, I'm reading this article that states: "Cash from part of a $2.16 billion U.S. transportation contract in Afghanistan has ended up in the hands of Taliban insurgents..." and "that some $34 billion in U.S. taxpayer dollars have been wasted on contracts with the private sector in the wars in Afghanistan and (sic) Iraq." http://news.yahoo.com/u-trucking-fun...223542993.html

Not to mention, what...6.6 billion unaccounted for in Iraq reconstruction money. http://www.latimes.com/news/nationwo...,4414060.story Yeah, you send planeloads of cash into a country at "war" (okay, a country we occupied under false pretenses, which resulted in violence and upheaval, thus necessitating our continued occupation) and none of it's going to disappear. DUH. EVERYBODY knows you don't carry that much cash ANYWHERE...unless you're buying drugs or paying bribes. Uh wuh??

So anyway. I was reading this article and for some reason I was reminded of those public service announcements about how American drug money funds terrorism. Remember those?


Turns out U.S. contract money funds terrorism. Who'da thunk it.
