Well it's been 17 days after my Aunt checked into the hospital for a simple operation to clean her Dialysis tube. The operation was a success but the surgeon prescribed Morphine which interacts with her seizure medication.

Now she's in a coma with a breathing tube down her throat and may have to be moved to a home or get he life support turned off, she has a day, the closet place she can moved to is in Florida.

What's worst is not only is this hospital responsible for diagnosing her seizures and find a doctor for her, my Grandmother (who takes care of her) caught a nurse administrating the morphine and warned the nurse. The nurse disregarded the warning afterwards. Now the surgeon and the nurse in question have totally disappeared from the hospital and the hospital is blaming her condition solely on the seizures and denying any involvement with morphine despite my grandmother not even bring the drug up.

I understand people fuck up, but when you totally lie to someone about what happen, that just bleh... I can't even me maliciously misanthropic, I just feel sad to what my grandmother and what my mother is going through. I'm tempted to press legal matters.

Thanks Gurdur, more or less I only want to press charges so she could be takin care of with a personal nurse in case she ever wakes up, the hospital uses a Pyxis drug disbursement system so if needed I can get the records to prove morphine was given to her.

This is the same hospital where bad things happened to me, I went in to removed a quinton catheter in my chest that went directly to my heart because I was going on peritoneal dialysis at the time, first I'm allergic to almost every pain medication expect hydrocodone and because it's was an out patient procedure I was awake, with no numbing I had to have a massive 3 foot tube rip out of my heart to chest. Afterwords I got stitched up. After that they did hemo dialysis through my fistula in my hand because my peritoneal tube hasn't healed but because it uses blood thinners my new didn't stop a lot of blood leaking out of my chest. I lost about 2 litters of blood, they had to sow me back up while doing dialysis. Worst thing I never technically never sign in and they have a policy of minimum time stayed I had to spend the night, holding 5-20 lbs sand bags on my chest to keep blood from leaking.

My point is that hospital really really sucks and I knew this ahead of time but she can't go to any other ones. I forgave and didn't give a medical complaint there but that's my body, when it comes to other people's health, I'm a tad more protective.
