When I heard about this, I just sort of went "What? lolWUT?" I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't care for Obama any more than I care for any other politician, but he's done an admirable job with the shit he's been saddled with.

What I want to see are the statistics and behavior that Romney is pulling this from. Because what I see is a long-standing discrepancy in pay and treatment between women and men in the workplace that's been around since long before President Obama was a twinkle in his parent's eyes. And the 92% thing? I want to see where that is from, really, because right now? As of 2009, women made up almost 60% of the US work force. Women are still no small presence in the work force, and indeed, if we were going go go the "war on..." route, we would have stronger footing if we called it a "war on race", according to these demographics here. Of course, that's still pretty shitty footing, considering that he didn't exactly fuck up the economy in the first place. That's been in the works for a long time, and I won't even lay it at the feet of Bush Jr.- Though his extravagant military spending certainly did not help matters any.

No, this is nothing but distraction tactics on Romney's part. I mean, really? Are you -really- trying to use this to make us forget that Limbaugh "didn't use the language I would have used"? Are you really trying to forget that the GOP is trying to re-define rape in our laws? Or how about their horrific terminology change that amounts to legalized victim blaming, and will cause an already horribly under-reported crime to get reported even less? Their unambiguous "go back to the kitchen" stance on women? And this isn't even scratching the surface of the GOP's war on women's health, the Sandra Fluke fiasco, or the fact that women are obviously more incompetent to speak on the subject of their bodies than the old, rich, white men who don't live in them!

Actually, let's scratch that surface just a little. Who else remembers that time when they decided that forcing women to undergo rape-by-object before an abortion was a GREAT idea?!

Sorry, Romney, this is only making you look more like a fucking idiot. Go back to the golf course, where the worst you can do is break the windshield of the golf cart of some other misogynist asshole who's too rich and too out of touch for his own good. I'd say go back to the kitchen, but I wouldn't trust you not to burn down the fucking house.
