Passed out at work today, and no one seems to know why. They drew some blood, took some urine, declared me to be the picture of perfect health, and shrugged.
Idiots. Freaking. Idiots.

. Seriously, there's about a million things that can trigger sycope (fainting) as you no doubt are aware. Hopefully it was an isolated incident.

I think I have a pretty good idea of what happened, but per usual, no one is listening to me. So.... I'll just go with it, 'till I can point out that I'm right. But yes, it was isolated (at least up to the present), and it's a thing I hope never happens again. I did not enjoy it in the least.
On the bright side, it merited a few days off work due to parental kidnapping. |

And now it's another Saturday. I've not been too active on line lately as I'm a bit washed out from the surgery and all the doc visits. But it all looks good and I'll start the radiation therapy after the first of the year.

So freaking tired.
Also, I want more of the potatoes I made. I'm not hungry, they were just really tasty and I want to eat more of them. /glutton |

That moment when you realize, you do know who that random person on the street was that knew you, and when you realize they know way more about you than they ought to.
I've never gone hunting a person IRL before, but it looks like some stupid man needs to have the fear of the good Doctor put into him. I do -not- appreciate stalkers, and I don't take intimidation lightly. |

I had a good set of holidays, mostly. One of my cats has been gone for a few days... I am worried, but not overly much. He is a good and sweet cat, but I'll be very honest... I didn't want him. >.>
Christmas was quiet, with the exception of a few minutes in the morning when I was forced to block someone on Facebook. I understand the guy is an atheist, but that absolutely gives him no right to try to ruin what I consider to be less a religious holiday, and more valuable time to spend with the family. Your beliefs (or lack thereof) do not give you a license to be an asshole. *nods* New Years was fun, I think, though I don't remember much past the fourth shot of Jager. And I think I kissed one of the other girls at the party... That would be cool, except that I don't particularly like this girl. ...I don't even know. But I know how to make assorted Japanese foods, now? I need to move to a city with a decent Asian store, cause this not being able to get stuff I'll need thing is getting -really- old. |

Waffles isn't home yet, now. I'm thinking he won't be coming home at this point... it's been almost two weeks.

I'm having the kitchen ceiling remodeled. Bloody hell what a mess! But it will be over soon, and I can move on to the next project. Probably new window/lanai treatments.
Friday is my last day working. I think I'm going to start spending some time out by one of our pools with a book and some sunshine.

I LIVE!
The man has turned back up, the cat hasn't, work is in flux, we might be playing games in the Wheel of Time setting, but the DM wants to beta test 5th edition DND with the group (I do not like what I've read so far of it), and I have ginger cookies. The glass is very much 50% too large for the quantity of water it contains. |

We went through the new stuff, and I'm still very iffy on the whole thing. Unfortunately, I cannot discuss further in a public venue.

I've been busy. Somehow, not quite a month into actually seeing each other, this relationship has a taken a turn for teh srslies. It feels weird, after being effectively single for the last five and a half years. Just seems kind of weird that I've known this guy since I moved up here, and we didn't even talk, really, until I chewed out that frizzy-haired Christian lady about the pamphlets at work.
Should I track her down at work one of these days and be like "Hey, thanks for trying to bring Jesus into the workplace. I'm still not Christian, but our battle over your evangelical fliers helped me get laid" ? y/n |

In less happy news, I've also been very busy because a CERTAIN FAMILY MEMBER *coughmybrothercough* threatened to shoot up a school on facebook, and there were ramifications. I've been trying to help deal with the family fallout.
And for those of you who may think I'm bullshitting, I'm not. http://www.kezi.com/tag/wesley-william-snyder/ Yep. Had to hide at work for a week. imho, he wasn't taking his meds. Considering that folks at the jail have reversed their "no seroquel" policy just for him, and it takes him a while to start really heading downhill, I'm thinking that I was right. Mom is pushing to have him committed. She can't take care of him, I can't take care of him, and he won't or can't take care of himself. Also, prison would be way stupid in his case. |

So what is everybody else's reason, eh?
I'm thinking how extraordinarily tired I am these days but that is to be expected what with the surgery and rad treatments, I reckon. Glad to see spring on the way so I can get outside more. |
