He's absolutely right about how we should not be so cocky here in the States. You'd think we might have had some of it already pounded out of us, but apparently not based on the snottiness I cetected coming from the interviewer.

I'd like to buy that Irishman a drink.

Now, if only we could get somebody honest like this man in the United States. Just anybody in the media to lay out those points, minus all the cursing, so that the FCC does not remove them.

A "real" Irishman? As opposed to...an imaginary one? Reminds me of a character called Skink in Carl Hiaasen's books lol.

Skink was former governor of Florida. No Irishman. He has great teeth still, no doubt helped by his healthy diet of roadkill.
