Default TEAS

What types of teas do you prefer? I mean not the herb teas but tea with caffeine. There's white, green, black, puer as far as fermentation goes. Teas come from Asia and one is grown in the US of A (American Classic.) Do you like to brew from tea bags or loose leaf tea? Or just buy it in those bottles of already made up tea possibly with some sort of flavoring? Do you like flavors in your tea?

I prefer the loose leaf teas which I can buy from a place called Tea Leaves which is an English style tea room in Parker, CO. Green - Gunpowder which sounds really strong but is called that since the leaves are hand rolled to look like little bits of gunpowder. Black - Russian Caravan, a smoky, strong blend. White - Silver Needle but right now all I could find was Peony.

Whenever I can get a ride to Tea Leaves, I enjoy a pot of tea and a lunch, usually just the scones with clotted cream and jam. Yum.

I started out in love with jasmine green tea, but the last year or so I've moved on to more strongly flavored black teas. Right now, I'm going back and forth between Earl grey, and this super strong chai that needs needs needs milk and sugar. Like, when I'm saying it needs milk and sugar, that's sayin' something.
