Default Welcome to this new forum, " Towards a moderate, middle-ground in the atheist movement"

This forum has now been created to collect all threads about creating, promoting and encouraging all efforts for a newly conscious, moderate middle-ground within the atheist movement, and all associated aspects such as dialogue.

Guiding priniciples are:
  • nothing is instead of anything else. Please do not recommend any initiative or wish "instead of" anything else in the slightest worthwhile.
  • Please do not give links to extremist sites unless very necessary in context. If such a link is necessary, please message me first for the Custom BB Code for such links.
  • This is not meant as a center for all efforts everywhere; instead, efforts elsewhere can also be promoted here.

Please feel very welcome to start new threads in this forum to deal with each specific idea or initiative.

As of just now, 42 people have joined the Hub over the last 4 days as a result of this --- and all that without any real publicity drive, at that! Even better, almost every single one looks to be like someone really wanting to participate, not a rubbernecker (stickybeaker, tourist). Usually, I reckon as a rule of thumb that only one person out of every seven applicants on a board is someone who will actually take part; in this current affair, it looks to me like almost every single person is in it for serious participation! So, really good news on that front, at least.
