Today was my first day of my new job. It went great. the work is decent, the employes and employers are good, and the pay and benefits are wonderful. ohh im making two dollars more an hour then i thought i was. =D

also almost done with my first class for college.

the non profit is organizing our first dinner fundraiser, that I am in charge of!

next step get an apartment


ohh also started an awesome veggy garden with my love. (in pots so we can move it all when we move)

It's not that she's a bad person or anything, it was just one of those "That's never going to happen to me!" sorts of things. Oops! lol.

I have a damned mouse/palm rat getting into my condo at night. Had the pest control guy over and he set traps. Last night the little shit left his calling card on the kitchen counter again, and never went near the traps.

Bugger.

Doncha just hate that! I occasionally have mice getting into the crawl space and then up into the house. I had one once do the counter thing and take the bait without tripping the trap - till I got the really old fashioned kind. The ones with that plastic bait holder are useless. I do see that they prefer cheese over peanut butter - one got caught in the cheese trap after it went around first one with the peanut butter.
