Default Clothes shopping

A friend came to town the other day. After lunch we went shopping at Chico's for slacks for her as she wound up having to stay over for another appointment. Ultimately we left sans new slacks but with several tops for her.

The funny part is that I was definitely not in my kind of store - my being the LLBean/Birkenstock kind of gal! Just out of curiosity I browsed but saw absolutely nada that I would have bought if I'd needed any clothes or jewelry or accessories.

Having work in a shoe factory and a clothing factory as a stitcher, and as a dressmaker doing custom clothing, my opinion is that Chico's sells poorly made clothing out of low quality fabric. L.L. Bean is definitely a better choice for decent clothing at reasonable prices.

Thanks, it's good to get some confirmation about my choice of clothes from someone who knows about quality from actual work in the field!

I hadn't been checking the quality in Chico's, just the styles, so hadn't looked closely at an item.
