Default McCain ditches campaign & Letterman

You may have heard that McCain suspended his campaign. It seems he also ditched his appearance on David Letterman. Letterman figured that McCain thought it so urgent he get back to Washington to save the country that he had to pass on the show. Lo and behold, it turns out that he ditched Dave to appear with Katie Couric instead. Good stuff.

BTW, if you watch that clip right now, apparently you get to see it even before it actually goes out on broadcast on TV.

This pair are utterly ricockulous. Forget all the shit I posted about why it's a good idea to support Obama for all sorts of political reasons. These two would be a parody of executive power, even more than Bush already is.

That woman is a fucking idiot. What she means is that we are not holding our breath in horror, waiting to see what Obama is going to do. We are watching McCain like we would watch the train hurtle toward Lilian Gish tied to the train tracks.

She almost makes Quayle look intellectual.

I don't understand the choice either. When Bush picked Quayle, it was for (I guessed) assassination prevention. This is the opposite, McCain could easily pass of natural causes as pres.

Another very brief but telling clip from this interview - shown as part of a CNN show where they roast her answer.

I've heard there is more to this interview stored at CBS that has never been shown it was so bad. Imagine - there is worse than what we're seeing.

Gah. She is so far over her head, someone needs to throw her a scuba suit.

I can't imagine worse.
