Default Muslim designs at London's Science Museum

Currently there is an exhibition on at London's Science Museum, "The 1001 Inventions" exhibition, which features inventions and designs by Muslims in the period of between the 9th and 15th centuries AD. It looks to be a good show, and features among other things Al-Idrisi's world map, Al-Zahrawi's surgical instruments (apparently Al-Zahrawi also invented the syringe), Ibn Firnas' flying contraption and so on. So if you're in London you might like to pop in and take a look at it.

Hey thanks for that info! I'm flying into London this Monday. Do you know if the exhibit is still on? I am determined to go and see it if I can.
